Downings is a family-run salon in Nottingham. They wanted their branding to appeal to more men, with the opening of a new dedicated barber’s within the salon. The rebrand will encapsulate the history of the salon, whilst injecting it with a modern style that matches the interior of the new men’s salon.
A new logo, colour palette, posters and signage for indoor and outdoor graphics. The colour palette is gender-neutral – conservative navy with hints of lime green that match the style of the new, modern men’s salon. The retro styled typography encapsulates at the salon’s history and heritage as a local business.
