The Concept

Sunny Side Up is brand aimed at students to allow them to recognise their negative thoughts and counteract them with positive emotions – flipping them ‘sunny side up’.

The Solution

An app for students to monitor and manage their wellbeing and, through a campaign, reduce the stigma and raise awareness of mental wellbeing.

The Big Idea
The concept of flipping negative thoughts into positives is brought to life by the analogy of the egg character: the egg is a metaphor for your head, whilst the yolks inside are its thoughts and emotions. By flipping these yolks ‘sunny side up’, this provides a narrative of counteracting negative emotions with positive ones.
